Will Courtyards ever get decent beds?
 

My back still hurts from staying at a Courtyard recently.

I'm wondering if and when the foam beds will be replaced with a true mattress and better bedding.

You have hit on my major peeve with Marriott and that is those crummy foam "mattress wannabees". I just hate them. In a USA Today story back before 9/11 there was a big story on bedding and linens at the various hotel chains and the success of Westin's Heavenly Beds. A quote from a representative of Marriott was in the article stating that Marriott was changing all the mattresses and linens at all the properties and providing a better quality produce to reflect the type of sleep experience people had at home. The change over was supposed to be completed by the beginning of 03. Obviously that has not happened as a lot of the full service hotels and most of the Courtyards still have those awful mattresses/
