Double Points
 

This is regarding the current double points promotion when paying with a Visa. Are your double points posting? I have not had my double points posted although the regular points have posted just fine. And yes I do know that it begins with the second stay.

Yes, they are posting everytime and at the same time. (now if I could just get those 500 PLT bonus points to post more than 50% of the time) They post as Visa double points / promo F.

I called MR yesterday to find out why my bonus points did not post for a second stay from Sept 16-19. My first stay was (in a seperate hotel) on Sept 15 (checkout). They initially denied my bonus points because their view was that I checked in on September 14 (BEFORE the promo started).

I pressed them on the fact that the T&C's said September 15 as the start date AND my checkout date was September 15. They relented and posted my points pronto.

I do not know if you may have a similar issue.

My first stay was Sep 19-20, so I don't have that issue. The second stay is Sep 28-Oct 2. I have email MR and hopefully they will rectify this soon. I am guessing something didn't get flagged correctly with my account.

I had three stays at different hotels last week. The second and third were posted today with double points. They sure add up quickly this way!
