Marriott Pasadena

I cannot find a Marriott in Pasadena on the web site.
I thought for sure that there used to be one.
Does anyone know what happenned to the Marriott Pasadena?
What options are there in Pasadena?
I don't want to but it looks like I might stay at the Hilton.

The Marriott property in Pasadena is a Courtyard that is only a few years old. It's on the outskirts of Old Town Pasadena

The Hilton Pasadena is not one of the nicer properties in that chain. Old and dingy come to mind.

We stayed two nights at the Courtyard in Pasadena around Xmas 2002 using my X14 free weekend certificates. Very convenient location, on Fair Oaks just a couple of blocks north of Colorado Blvd, right around the heart of Old Town Pasadena's shopping district. Nice Courtyard, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. I recall there is a restaurant on site but with all the great restaurants nearby we did not try it. I have not heard good things about that Hilton, though I haven't checked any reviews lately. But if you want to be within easy walking distance of Old Town, I think the Courtyard is more convenient. I would return to the Courtyard Pasadena if I were to visit the area again.
