Merging with wifes's account?
Did I understand correctly that Marriott does not allow husband and wife to have joint account, nor merge their two separate account into one?

I could not merge an account, but when I needed an award I could transfer the required points from one account to another (which to all intense is the same thing)
It does not have to be your spouse. It can be with anyone with the same address Details are at marriott.com |

And what do they do if the partner that has the family account on his name dies? Will all points be lost then?
