Ways to purchase Marriott points!

I need to get some activity into my GlobalPass account fast and I was wondering if there was a way to purchase Marriott points. I need 10,000 points.

If you have (or if you can get) an american bank account:
10.000 points for the first purchase with the Marriott Visa card

You may purchase up to 10% of the required points for a reward when you don't have enough points to request a specific reward. Please note that purchasing points may not be an option for some of the partner rewards. See terms and conditions for more information.

If you have an Amex points account you can buy their points, as many as you want, and then transfer to Marriott, 1 to 1 without a fee.

Regards.

You can buy Amex MR points? I had no idea. I have a Canadian AMEX with MR features. I'll give them a call.

Great ideas.

Without looking it up I believe the Canadian transfer rate is much lower - somewhere in the area of 100 Amex to 65 Marriott. Not a great deal, but convenient.
