Marriott property with the best pool(s)?

My three kids - ages 5, 7, and 9 - love hotel pools. The bigger and/or more unique, the better.

I'd appreciate hearing about which Marriott properties have awesome pools, regardless of location or hotel experience outside of the pool.

I'll start with a vote for Ko Olina Beach Club. Lots of variety, plus a waterslide that my kids went on over and over (and over) again.

The JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando has an AWESOME pool.

I hear that the pool at the JW Khao Lak in Thailand has a massive pool as well.

You might find some possibilities in the http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/marri...ides-kids.html thread.

And in the Orlando area, the Marriott World Center has a couple of pools. The largest of them has slides and waterfalls. Though per the hotel's website: "Our Falls Pool ("our signature" large pool) will be closed from August 1 – November 30, 2012 for a renovation which will include the addition of 3 new waterslides and a poolside bar and grill." So it will soon have a bunch of waterslides added.

Grande Lakes is awesome.

All three JW Phuket pools are fantastic with a great kids area.

My kids highly recommend the Hill Country Resort near San Antonio, as well as the JW Guanacaste in Costa Rica.

Gets my vote too. Heated, lazy river. Brilliant. And there are 'normal' pools for swimming too.

If you are venturing outside the US, the Sharm El Sheikh Marriott Resort has a couple of great pools as well.

My kids find lazy rivers to be very, very boring, same with elaborately landscaped pools. The only thing that makes a good pool in their mind is waterslides and/or diving boards. Many of the pools listed in this thread do not have slides.

(Caveat that my kids swim on swim team 5 days a week, 2 hours a day and have acces to a HOA pool May-Oct, so just water in the ground does not impress them)

If you haven't already, be sure to take them to the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa someday. Their pools have everything your kiddos are looking for, sans the diving boards. Plus, plenty of lovely pool lounging spots for Momma to enjoy herself too!
