$25 Dining Credit when using your American Express card

Just ran across the newest perk: Use your Amex card and get $25 dining credit at a Marriott or Renaissance hotel. PER NIGHT! WOW!

This is apparently not what it first appears to be. It looks as though you need to stay on an Escape package to qualify for the dining credit. The credit ($25 per night) is applied to dining charges for a single meal (e.g., lunch or dinner) related to each night's stay with no carryover to other meals or the following night.

A Two for Breakfast Escape could mean meals are almost free, but you wouldn't get to experience many other restaurants!

I guess everything is not necessarily what it appears upon first seeing it.
Thanks for pointing that out!
