Double nights still going on?
 

Starting from Saturday I will have a 7 night stay (2 rooms) at the Marriott Orlando World Center Resort. Is that double nights promo still going on? Will I get 14 nights credit towards Elite Status? Rooms are going to be paid with VISA

To earn double points and double nights starting with your second stay, until 3/31/02, payment must be made with a Visa® card. You must be a points-earning Marriott Rewards member to receive the double points and the double night credit. Registration for this promotion is required.
Nights for your second room do not count for elite level status.

Have you got the link to sign me up on that promotion. Second stay no problem as I mad christmas shopping in Paris and I stayed at Paris Marriott!!

But do not blame me, if Marriott rewards consider this your first stay after registration.

Be sure to hold the reservation with VISA, I have had a number of times where my reservations was held by my AMEX card, I paid out with my VISA and then had to contact MR to get my double points......

Wish I'd read this advice sooner. Amex is the default card in my profile, so appears in all my online reservations. Although I've paid all stays in the promotion period with VISA, I haven't had one credit properly yet.

All my stays are guaranteed with Diner's and I have been paying with Visa for the promo. No problems getting credit so far.
