Missing Stay Request (from a year and a half ago)
 

Just curious if anyone has had any luck in reporting a missing stay request and receiving Marriott Rewards when the stay occurred a year and a half ago?

Years ago I accumulated a small amount of Marriott Reward Points and recently learned that they hadn't expired. About a year and a half ago I took a business trip, stayed at a Marriott and besides my room I paid for three others. I just took up this miles/points hobby (obsession) and was just wondering if anyone has reported a missing stay from a long time ago.

I'll probably give it a whirl & see what happens--the worse they can say is "no".

Technically, the answer is no but go ahead and give it a whirl. Do you have the original receipt/folio?

I have a copies of all receipts/folios and each have my name & information on them. Originals were submitted to my accounting office to process my reimbursement (they've scanned/imaged them so the originals are gone for good). I will report back & let everyone know what happens.

It may be to long ago due to terms and conditions but I would try as well.

Update: My points posted to my account on September 10! It took almost six weeks & was certainly worth the few minutes effort.
