How long to post "713" miles on UA?
 

Just cashed in on a 713 award on 7/3. I am awaiting the 120K miles (for 2 RT to Australia) in my United Mileage Plus account.
Marriott has already debited the points in my account (and charged me for the point purchase I made).

How long does it usually take for the points from one of these transactions to wind up in my UA account? Is the delay due to Marriott or UA?

We have redeemed several 713's and 714's in the past few months. It usually takes about a week to get the miles.

When I redeemed a 714 award the miles posted in my DL account within 5 days. Like msb, I've been waiting almost 3 weeks now for UA miles to post for a 713 award.

UA seems to be typically late in posting points other than UA flights. I am still waiting on Marriott stay points from two early May stays in SYD to post. I sent my folio(s) to UA - still no action or reply.

Ordered 713 award from Marriott on 6/25. Mileage posted to United on 7/9. Paid $15.00 for expedited service after I was assured that paying this fee would "expedite the point psting", Told the Marriott rep that I didn't care about getting the hotel cert immediately but needed the points posted right away because United had a hold on a reservation for me but would only hold for 1 week and then if points not there for them to take I would lose the reservation. Needless to say i did lose the reservation and I have already E Mailed Marriott and asked them to refund the $15.00 because the expedited service did not occur as promised.

I ordered mine on 13 Jul, they appeared the same day!

This IS some sort of record me thinks.
