Marriott Washingtonian, Gaithersburg, MD comments??
 

Hello FTers,

I have a stay at the Marriott Washingtonian in Gaithersburg, MD in several weeks. Does anyone have any inputs on this property especially the chances of an upgraded room, tennis/fitness center facilities, and nearby restaurants?

Since I'd reserved a room on the Concierge Floor, I can not speak about UG' possibilites. Small pool, jaccuzzi, and gym as I recall. Small business center. Believe the Manager's name is Dan!

There's a Mexican restaurant just across the lake (short walk) that was okay, though the Marg's are not exactly killers! They did have a Happy Hour though! And there's a nearby movie theater - also a short.

It's set on a pond and there's a pretty short walk in the back.

The conference snacks were good <smile>.

I stayed down the road at a Marriott "suites" which I would use again.
