Saved 3000 points
I just got around to looking up the new cost of a reward certificate I recently bought. It's the first, and only, reward certificate I've ever bought, after 5 years of off-and-on, hit-and-miss Marriott stays.
Warsaw Marriott (select hotel), two weekend nights. Old price: 35000 points. New price: 38000. That's a savings of 3000 points, or 8.5%. I really did wipe out my account, I'm down to under 1000 points now. So I can feel happy that I saved points. While I'm at it, has anyone stayed at this property? I'll be staying there after three weeks of staying in cheap hotels and shared room youth hostels, so I'm figuring it'll be a nice change of pace. The Warsaw Marriott is an excellent hotel. If you are at all able to get access to the concierge lounge, do so. It is one of the better ones, with outstanding staff.
