Old Award Categories - Where?
 

I have a 708 award (3 free nights)that I got a while before they changed to the new plan. I have no printed records of what were the select vs choice hotels under the old plan, nor can I seem to find it on the web site. My award is good into next year.
Does any one know where I can find this list?

I called Marriott today to get a list faxed to me, but not only did they remove the list from the website "for your convenience", THEY WILL NOT FAX IT TO YOU.

Well that's deluxe. I guess I'll have to root around thru old files and see if I can find anything.

You might try the Google search engine as well; I searched the other day for "712 marriott" , got a link to the old Marriott Rewards page (which of course didn't work anymore) but could click on Google's "cached" link to pull up a copy. Yay for search engines...!

I don't have any of the old books with me, but I would guess that all Marriott or Renaissance hotels in Categories 3, 4 & 5 would probably take it?

I have a copy of the book, however I admit my ability to post all of the info here would be limited. I would be happy to either tell you about specific properties you are interested in, or make a copy and mail it to you. Just post here and let me know what you need.

The 708 award I have is a 3 night Select, as opposed to Choice, award. So I guess what I am looking for is what hotels would be Choice and thus not allowed, since I think that list is shorter. Many thanks to all who have responded.

You can find the list from a cached version at Google using the link below. MAKE A COPY of list because this page still exists with different content at the actual Marriott site, so Google's cached version will change the next time their spider programs re-index the site. Here is the link:
