Does anyone out here know if the free continental breakfast for Plat/Gold Rewards Members (avail M-F) if a conceirge/executive level is not available at Marriott or Marriott Suites includes a free Cont. breakfast for the spouse?

It doesn't clearly state this in the welcome to "S/G/P" rewards status booklet. My experience has been that as a platinum, most hotels will include my spouse on the complimentary breakfast. However this current trip to the Wash Dulles Marriott Suites told me that it didn't include the spouse.

I know its not a big issue nor should I be wasting the time on it; yet as a platinum member I get irked when they (each hotel) seems to set its own rules according to the manager on duty.

Just for the record too, Kudos out to the Las Vegas Marriott Suites staff..

When I travel alone, it's not an issue. When I'm with my wife and the lounge is closed (or doesn't exist), I ask for two breakfast coupons. Usually they agree, sometimes not.

I also try to get coupons on the weekends. My record is about 50/50 on that one. Ft. Lauderdale Marina treated me like a major criminal when I tried. I don't stay there anymore.

Las Vegas Suites is very nice.
