giving points
Hi:
I have one family member who would like to give another MR points. I understand that MR points can only be given from one member to another to help complete a reservation. My question is, if the reservation is made and then cancelled (after the points have been transferred) what happens to the points? Are they returned to the person who gave the points or do they stay in the account of the recipient? Any insights would be very much appreciated |

I never have had any problem booking family members rooms under my name, and then add their name in the notes. They get the possible upgrade and I get the arrival points. And if there is a cancellation, no problem.
