All Inclusive Rewards

Checking out the Marriott website, I noticed that they are now offering All Inclusive Packages starting at 125,000 for 5nights/2 people. Now my annual trip the the RJG in Ocho Rios is one step closer to being totally free (wish I could use points for the departure tax - oh well). All in all, sounds like a great deal.

This is great news!

They have had them for years and I enjoyed using them to Hongkong and Thailand.
But Marriott removed the 8 day FREE FULL size Hertz rental car in the 200,000 package. When I called last year, and asked if this award was going to change. I was told that award was NOT going to change, so I didn't order it.
A disservice.

Marriott has had the 200,000 award for years which included a Hertz full-size car, seven nights and coach round-trip airfare for two, but they NEVER had what they are doing now for points at this many resorts which includes all meals for two. In fact, some of their restaurants in resort cities are not shy on what they charge for meals.

I wonder if this "all-inclusive" stuff includes anything on the menu at these resorts??? Also, the book is not very specific as to what the meals entail. If anyone is aware of this new policy, please let us know, this can really be a nice alternative to other awards in the program.

ANother Marriott would be the Cancun for All-inclusive. It is hard for me to believe they will pick up the tab for meals there! But I would like to try it, if they do.

I am staying at the Ren. in Ocho Rios Jamaica (and have for the past 4 years)over thanksgiving and will be using the all inclusive reward. Their all inclusive includes everything (too much rum and coke though)and I mean everything. I called to confirm with Marriott and they said yes, its the regular all inclusive package offered to paid guests. You will be given one of those loverly orange plastic bracelets that signifies you as a paid all inlcusive guest. This is a can't loose deal. I am getting ever so close to that totally free vacation.
