Olympic Hotel Alert -- On Points
 

The Park Lane currently has some rewards reservations available during the Olympics. They appear to be non-refundable, due to the event.

I was very happy to be able to snag three nights on the weekend of the 3rd to complement the County Hall reservation I have for the end of the event (we'll be in the Cotswolds with family the rest of the time).

I don't know if this signals that other hotels will be adding rewards rooms as their blocks close. I would have liked to hold out for one of my favorites, but felt it was too risky to pass this up.

The St. Pancras Renaissance has some rewards availability as well, though the dates are more limited.

Ample availability at Kensington, with the caveat that rooms only accommodate two guests.

ohmark just started a thread noting non-refundable awards at CH this summer, although he said it wasn't during Olympic events.

There is availability opening up for rewards, and the prices are starting to reduce. Corporate rates are also starting to appear!

The normal rates have returned for the Farnborough air show, and again, corporate rates have been reinstated (except at my hotel at moment :mad: ).

I just changed my two separate reservations (PL August 3-6 and CH August 12-15) to a single PL reservation from August 2-7. I'd rather be at a different hotel, and am considering strategies to allow myself to make the change without cancellation fees.

Rooms have opened up at the County Hall.
 

I see rooms available for 40k points per night on July 27, 28, and 30. Also August 1, 2, 3, and 6 through the rest of the month. The usual (highly restrictive) cancellation policy applies.

Regents Park has a few rooms.
