Marriott MEM code
 

I need to get an answer with this.

I understand.....MEM.....is a rate code I can use to make reservations and get good deals.

But what is MEM for? Ami I committing some sort of fraud claiming somethign I am ineligible for.


I have a rewards account and I am a silver member.

Are there restrictions with this code such as not earning reward points or not gaining credit for other promotions such as stay 2 separate stays earn a free night or 5K/10K points?

I know some cut rate hotel pricing you can find through hotwire, priceline, or cut rates through expedia, and other sites are exempted from credit in reward programs.

MEM? Never heard/seen it. Where are you attempting to use it and what does it say as the description of the special rate on the actual rate page?

Also, it appears that you posted the same question in the discount code forum, which, of course, was the appropriate place.

I am skeptical of threads that seem to not be too active and feel like I am asking no one.

On another thread someone said MEM is one of those codes you can use to book rooms with under rewards. But I dodnt know what it means or what caveats there are using that code..

MEM = marriott Elite members code. This is available to Marrioott Rewards Elite members (Silver, Gold & Plat). Not always available but if it is it may be slightly cheaper.

And there are no loss of bennies when using this code...

These deals are sent via email to members on a regular basis. Log in to your account and make sure you allow for them to be sent to you. Several pretty amazing rates have been offered if your travel plans are flexible. I always plug in MEM a week or so prior to each trip just to check.
