Old Marriott Gold vouchers

I'm going to be using my old Marriott Gold vouchers this May..

Will prob be at Ren Bkk May 30 - June 1 using the 2999 voucher.

What are the chances of using the 2999 voucher at JW BKK on June 1 for 2 nights... My vouchers are actually valid till May 31. Probably a NO i guess..

Does anyone have old 2999 JW / Ren BKK vouchers that valid till end June 2012?

thanks

I purchased the Club Marriott Thailand in late March for the 2nd year.

I did not know this at the time but they also removed the 1999++/night voucher for the Marriott Executive Apartment Mayfair in addition to the 5 50% off RAC rate certificates throughout APAC. ...bummer

In my opinion it's not worth the 7500 THB price tag.

If there are still any other Club Marriott members left, that are not going to use their BKK Courtyard 1999++ vouchers or wanna trade for them for any Phuket vouchers (I never get a chance to make it down there) please PM me.

rates at each of the hotels cited vary from day-to-day so these rates are likely based on one set day and may or may not be same the following day............ the new Club Marriott is basically 20% off best rate available............

and, where did you get rates for Rayong as this property has no rates available yet in Marriott.com ?????

from Club Marriott's office, YES, they have changed the package and the rates previously cited are correct for Phase II, however in my opinion the new Phase II is significantly overpriced then Phase I (which I have) and/or Marriott Gold (which is still valid for some of us)............example, JWKL from THB1999 to THB4499........ And, making the card benees non-transferrable in Phase II when Phase I was fully transfarrable........you decide! I have, and won't be renewing.....

Being a Hong Kong member

Have been a member for three years. Did not renew in HKG due to the lack of accomodation benefits this year.

When they had the 50% off rack rate voucher it was not very good deal any way. Some hotel simply put 50% off rack rate higher than BAR rate (as they would tell you the rack rate is 250% of the BAR rate, aka Renaissance WUXXX)...

I dont disagree with you really. I think I misread earlier and thought it was the same as what was listed in the packet but perhaps not.

IMO the Phase I had better benefits, notwithstanding the loss of 4 Thai properties and no longer having the ASPAC vouchers............. I almost didn't buy it earlier this yr but with the new Phase II, and knowing that there won't be a Phase III (Club Marriott confirmed this yesterday), absolutely won't renew again............

Same here. Will not renew this month. Skycity staff called me twice for renewal since last week.

I bought 4 packages last year for family members but I will not renew anymore.

The loss of 5 x Asia Pacific 50% accommodation vouchers is a major blow.

Hopefully, the management will revise the accommodation benefits and U-turn their decision once they see that most of their clients did not renew.

The staff told me over the phone that there is still a 20% discount off the BAR. I replied her that I can get the 25% discount by applying the LNF.

Happy
