Terms & Conditions for PP upgrade

Multi-year platinum, 1st year PP here. Can anyone point me to the T&Cs on Marriott's site for the elite upgrade? For the upgrade, I normally do not push / care too much, but have a resort stay coming up and want to know what I can ask for.

Thanks

Update: Found it: https://www.marriott.com/rewards/terms/elite.mi

The actual T&Cs can be found at Rewards Terms & Conditions.

But basically, you can ask for anything, you might not get it, but you can always ask. If you really want a 'better than normal' upgrade, you might increase your chances of success in trying to contact the hotel's GM. Let the GM know you are coming, how you've heard many great things about the hotel, and that you know upgrades aren't a given, but they can do anything special for your trip (let them know if there is anything special like an anniversary, birthday, etc.). And let them know that you understand that they may not be able to do much (especially if they are full or close to it) and you understand and still expect to have a great stay. (IOW, butter them up as best you can. ;) )

And to get the GM's email, you can call the hotel and ask. They should be able to give it to you.

Good luck.

This is also addressed in the Marriott FAQ sticky that hhoope1 did under Marriott Elite levels, benefits, status.
