Marriott Rewards LogoMarriott Rewards® MegaMiles has soared to new heights, giving members the opportunity to earn 2,000 bonus miles with every stay, beginning with the second stay, up to a total of 50,000 bonus miles during the promotion. Members will also earn their usual base miles with every stay. Stay between January 1 and April 30, 2012, at any of over 3,500 participating hotels in 70 countries.
Participating frequent flier program airlines include: Aeromexico, Air Canada, Air China, Alitalia, Asiana Airlines, Avianca-TACA, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, China Eastern, China Southern, Delta, Emirates, Frontier Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Japan Airlines (JAL), Jet Airways, JetBlue, Kingfisher Airlines, KLM/Air France, Lufthansa, Southwest Airlines, TAP, United, US Airways and Virgin Atlantic Airways.

Another one on stays rather than nights. I bet some people will be checking in and out on a daily basis during multi-day trips.

Do you receive airline miles or Marriott points for your stays? If points, then to take part in this bonus program, you will need to switch your earnings to miles instead.

Have a 7 night stay in South Beach thru the 6th of January...will change to airline mile preference after this stay...don't think it's worth giving up the hotel points on extended stays...so will try to max this promo with 26 1-2 night stays within the time period and then change back to hotel points...

Am I reading this right? We'll get 2,000 Southwest points for every stay? PLUS the normal base miles?!?!

Your thoughts may be wishful thinking. Typically there is only one major promotion per timeframe. (There are other targeted promos)
