Marriott Gift Card promos [Merged threads]
Forgive me if this has been posted elsewhere but I just checked the Marriott Gift card site and the 10% bonus or 10 points/ dollar bonus are back through 1/8/2012 Note that you cannot combine the offers (I tried and it wouldn't allow it).
10% Bonus - type MMF into the promo code box and an extra 10% will be added to your card value
10 points/ dollar - put your MR # in the appropriate promo code box and 10 pts/ dollar will be added to your MR account up 25,000 points.

Thanks for posting it! Does the purchase of the gift card get additional 5 points per dollar spent when paying with the Marriott CC?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Anyone had luck using this in conjunction with bigcrumbs recently? I remember last year it took FOREVER for the 4% extra to post, but it finally did.

$100 or 10,000 points on a $1,000 card purchase as I figure it. Tough call.
10,000 is probably the bare minimum for a room at a crappy FI, CY or SHS while $100 cash might cover it even with taxes. At least 15,000 - 20,000 for something better like a RI or FS which you should be able to do for under $150 or $200.
Leaning towards the cash although it could be a better deal if you have a specific redemption property in mind and do the comparison....

Can we use GC for ADP/ADV rates?
Thanks.

To be honest the gift card is a nice idea for you to cover
1. Catering in Limited Service Hotel
2. Catering across the board if you are not staying.
I think I am getting one. Even if that means the lousy gift card situation (of no points for hotel stay due to handling issue or stuff like that) I can still find a good use for it.

Judy,
Do you think there is a way to double dip with the My Points and the Marriott bonus points offers?

Mypoints appears to direct you to a different site.
