no elevator at the LAX Ren
evidently a power surge blew up the circuit boards a few weeks ago at this hotel. FD said they were working yesterday at check in, but i find myself stuck on the 10th floor at lunch time today
some guy was lugging down his luggage to catch a plane this is a nice hotel (stayed here before) but how long does it take to fix an elevator? |

I'm sure the hotel is just as thrilled as you are about the problem. The good news is that it means you get some exercise if you need to get to the ground floor ;) PS - In case of elevators not working I wouldn't be lugging my luggage downstairs; that's the bellman's job! Cheers. |
I checked in at 230pm, and by 330 they were working.

I encountered a simlar problem during the week of October 3rd. A power issue knocked out two of the three elevators which made getting to the 10th floor an ordeal during busy times. Later that week they managed to get a second elevator running. It looks like the problem is ongoing :(

I appreciate the heads up, but think it becomes more of an issue if we're reading about the same thing 3 months from now. Cheers. |
