Switching between points/miles
 
Hi Experts,

I have read on several forums that Marriott offers this possibility and now that I am unable to pay my next stays with visa I considering to switch my preference to miles (to earn the 30.000 extra miles).

Now couple of questions I have:

- I currently have still 800.000 points in my account I suppose that they still remain valid? And I still can use them? (this is my biggest fear)

- Can you change back to points after I earned the miles.

Your points remain and you can switch back and forth between points and miles as many times as you'd like. I've advised an associate to do his 1 night stays on miles and longer stays on points to maximize both promos. It's a win/win.
