MVCI owner perks

An owner once told me that she used to use the gym at her local Marriott hotel for free, as she was an mvci owner. Is this true, and are there any other perks? I have searched online but can not find anything about it. Thanks.

The only benefit of consequence I am aware of are the 5 day marriott travel packages vs. the 7 day travel packages typically offered by marriott. I've heard of some folks getting day passes to their home MVCI resort if they live locally or are visiting the area. You also get one night elite credit for every night stayed in a MVCI resort and points for incidental charges on your room bill. Not aware of anything else.

Some MVCI resorts offer Day Use to owners (with some restrictions for busy/holiday periods) but I've never heard of Day Use passes for the hotel properties.

MVCI owners have a discount code for hotel stays, as well. (Of course, subject to availability.)

I own an MVCI week in Marbella. I've used the owner's discount code to great effect for additional stays in Marbella and Orlando, but only at other MVCI resorts. I've never got a discount at a hotel.

When I stay at the Marbela Beach Resort the people there leave me a nice welcome letter and a bottle of wine to recognise my Platinum status.

The only other "benefit" I can think of is the ability to earn additional MRW points for referrals to the MVCI sales people - not something I've ever done.

Yes, this is the biggest benefit to me as I mostly value airline miles and usually find a good deal on hotel rates. I try to use the 5 night packages only at hotels that are just crazy expensive. For example, I'm using it for the JW Marriott Rio. Best rate for the time I'm going there is $580 plus tax per night. No way I'm paying that much for that hotel. I mean, it's a nice hotel, but my limit is about $300 anywhere.

Night credit for staying in your MVCI unit is a nice feature they added a few years ago, and discounts on paying to stay at other MVCI locations has always been available.

I think this list is complete, as far as I know.
