Marriott E-certificate Help Pls
 

I am a Platium member and currently have e-certificates for 3 free nights that I would like to utilize as they will expire soon.
The problem is its for category 1-4 only. Most of the hotels I'm looking at
are for 5 or above. Called Marriott to no avail. Is there anyway of getting around this to use these certs for a cat 5 hotel. Otherwise, I feel like they are useless. Appreciate any help you can give on this.

I would suggest you call a few times but instead of asking them to be converted to points (which is what you want) ask instead if they can be extended. Some members have had success asking for an extension and getting them converted to points rather than asking for them straight up.
