Reward points on hotel package

Hi, I am new to MR. I have a simple question regarding the reward points earned on hotel package. I am looking for a hotel around Disney World. It happened that I found a couple of Fairfield Inn offer hotel package including 2 adults Disney tickets. I am wondering if I book this package, how the reward points will be calculated. Based on the standard rate or the package rate. Similarly, if the breakfast package in Marriott or Courtyard would be counted. Thanks!

Earn 10 Marriott Rewards points or 1 air mile* per US dollar spent on room rate only at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott®. You’ll get Marriott’s award-winning hospitality and a room that’s bright, fresh and clean–all at a price that will make you smile. It's our most affordable welcome on the road.

It's on actual $ spent and not the rate before discount/package.

I have had hotels break out what they consider the nightly rate from a package and only give me the 10pts/$ on that part of what I paid. I have also had hotels not do that. I'm not sure what they are "supposed" to do, but I have seen it go both ways before.
