Doubling the Marriott Q2 bonus
 

I'm signed up for the Q2 promo for the 40k bonus miles for what is it 25 nights or something. I may be in a position to stay close to 75 nights in the promo period (relocation via Residence Inn). Can I ask them to achieve the bonus twice or 3 times? Or can I ask to roll the days to next year's elite qualification since I've already hit Plat? Or should I open a new account just to get the bonus miles? Could I then combine the accounts later? Anyways, what's my best option here?

MR likely will not let you double up on the promo. You could open a second account, but there isn't a good way to combine accounts later. You also wouldn't have elite status on the second account and would lose your bennies.

The good news is that all of your elite nights over 75 this year will roll over to next year for elite qualification and for lifetime night count - you don't need to ask for that one.

After you meet the 25 night threshold, you might consider switching your earning option to airline miles and sign-up for the 4x airline mile bonus which is running during the same period.

I never thought of asking this question when I traveled heavily. Good luck; let us know how it turns out.

Interesting, I might try that if they won't let me double the promo. Plus, the nights would still carry over for elite status, so I'd only be losing a few points (Residence inn is only 5x not 10x)

It will not work, I have tried in the past.
I cant believe Marriott does not offer a milestone past 30 nights.
If they were to setup a huge milestone I definetely would have gone for it in the past.
Even if they did something as simple as 2K or 1.5K/night past the last milestone.
I simply quit staying with them once I hit the bonus and go elsewhere.
I think the most I have ever stayed was 1st qusarter this year where I logged 36 nights.
I might credit my 1 nighters to southwest and continue to give Marriott my one nighters this time becasue southwest is actually included in the miles promo this time.
