Q2/Q3 Promotion 01JUN - 31AUG 2011

So I registered for the new promotion. Two paid stays gets one free night. Is that the same offer everyone else is getting or are their nights and points promotions that I could possibly switch to? I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't like free night certificates because they expire. I'd rather vacation on my schedule and not Marriott's (or Club Carlson's or SPG's).

That's what I got:

Earn 20,000 bonus points after 15 paid nights + an extra 10,000 after 20 paid nights.

Actually it looks like (as w/ the other promos) the type of offer varies, since 2 of the examples above are different.

Cheers.

I got the 20 nights 25K and then 5 more nights 15K. For a total of 40K for 25 nights... In contrats to the Feb-April promo, it was 50K for 25 nights.

Same as mapu here.

ChrisLi May 9, 2011 9:35 am

I got this

Earn 25,000 bonus points after 20 paid nights + an extra 15,000 after 25 paid nights.

May be because I normally have long stays and mainly in courtyard? The 15K 2nd part is kind of low IMO.

Why do you think an extra 15K for 5 nights is low? That's 3K per night, much better than the initial 25K for 20 nights at 1.25K per night.

Change option

I got:
Earn 20,000 bonus points after 15 paid nights + an extra 10,000 after 20 paid nights.

When the maximum is 30,000 points, can I change to:
Two paid stays gets one free night?

Thanks.

I got "Earn 20,000 bonus points after 15 paid nights + an extra 10,000 after 20 paid nights". Have no idea why I got this one - my last promo was one free night after two paid stays.

They need to start doing something different.....

Down from the 50k Mega Bonus promotion which was 35+15 or the Visa promotion.

I'd rather have that offer for Mr. Kipper, since he's not scheduled to travel much until the fall, but will need to do 3 one night stays in the near future. At least with that, we'd just stay another night to earn the other certificate.

Odds that they'll change it if we call?

I received:

Earn 20,000 bonus points after 15 paid nights + an extra 10,000 after 20 paid nights.

Which is odd since in the past I have always received the 1-night stay certs after every 2/3 stays.
