Marriott Platinum using points
 
My husband is Marriott Platinum. If he books a Marriott reservation on Marriott Points will he get Platinum benefits?

Yes, but you dont get elite night credit. You do get lounge access (if applicable), arrival gift, etc.

Officially yes, but there are some who will argue the toss with you at reception - I remember a frank exchange of views in San Francisco.....

just go to marriott.com and read the terms and conditions. heck, print them out and keep them with you. they're very useful when you come across a front desk staffperson who doesn't know the rules.... :rolleyes:
