Welcome recent changes to MR
 

Just a quick note to say thank you to Marriott for resolving my two single biggest gripes with the MR program.

1. 'Nickel-and-diming' for internet access (while providing other benefits which I might not need or want) - This has now apparently been resolved with the introduction of free internet for gold an platinum internet across the Marriott range of properties.

2. 'crazy' situation where I could SPEND but not earn MR points/Nights at the RC properties (I have a few favourite RC properties, but have reduced my stays there since 'discovering' MR and FT) - This has been resolved with the addition of RC to the MR program

Some may gripe at the details of these changes, but I'd like to thank Marriott for these two enhancements to the program which I consider significant positives.
