Question about multiple stays, same nights
 

Question: I have the following upcoming stays planned:

Property 1: Check in Aug 13, Check out Aug 16. Using an EEO for one night's stay - technically it would get applied on the morning of the 16th, but who knows.

Property 2: Check in Aug 13, Check out Aug 14.

Property 3: Check in Aug 14, Check out Aug 15.

I understand I can only earn 1 EQN per night. (Maybe this will be two, maybe three, depends on what Prop 1 does with the EEO - frankly, the EQN doesn't matter this year for me.) My main question is about the Delta 5,000 miles. Will I earn 5,000, 10,000, or 15,000 for this stay activity.

All stays will be legitimately used and paid for by me. (That is, none are bogus bookings for the purposes of the promotion.)

The total revenue on Property 1 will be low, as we're also applying a Bonus Buck. If this will cause a conflict or problem in the system, I'd probably drop my Marriott Rewards number from Property 1 at check-out.

I think it will depend mightily on the type of property that you are staying in. From your post it is obvious that property 1 is FS. The other two I can't tell. If they are non FS then I would say you stand a pretty good chance at getting the delta bonus and the additional EQNs. I had a "multiple stays, same nights" scenario at 2 non FS properties and one FS property early on during this summer promotion and all nights counted as EQN. Additionally, all were reflected on the bonus promotion as separate stays. Apparently same night stays at FS hotels are easier for the MR system to track.

Good question - I honestly didn't think it was material, but...

Prop 1 is a regular Marriott.
Props 2 and 3 are both Courtyards.

I assumed the system would have no problem "catching" it - I'm not expecting a bunch of EQN out of the deal. Just Delta bonuses. :) (Actually, I don't even really expect 15,000 miles, but I also don't want to get left with only 5,000 miles.)
