I do Plat in MR & SPG and now Gold in HH (Did do DIA there too, but not enough travel this past year to maintain that).

By far for leisure travel SPG has nicer resorts and they treat me better on award stays than MR ever has. I get nice upgrades almost always and get nice welcome gifts at resorts.

So I'll always make sure to maintain status there for sure. However I have to maintain status elsewhere just because SPG lacks hotels in the backwoods of America. There is always a HH or MR choice out there in this case.

The only thing MR is missing and I would drop all my HH travel is free breakfast. As petty as that sounds I hate staying in CYs just because they charge an arm and a leg for breakfast and they don't at least give it free to Plats. That's pretty short sighted IMHO.
