Lifetime points are missing from the profile section of the website and show as 0 in the Marriott mobile app. However, you may be able to use the work-around referenced in this blog post to see your current Lifetime Points.

You can still view your lifetime points online with the following steps:
  1. Go to www.marriott.com and login
  2. Go to https://www.marriott.com/rewards/rewards-program.mi
  3. Click "Nights"
See screenshot of what to click.

If you call Marriott they can also tell you your lifetime points balance.

http://www.marriott.com/marriott/rew...te-benefits.mi As of 20 May, this process does not work. There is no link called "Night Detail" on this page.

To check lifetime balances: (HT to txpenny)
1. Click "Night Detail".
2. Click "Learn More" (under the night total)
3. Click "Marriott Rewards Overview". At this point you're probably no longer logged in (because you've been thrown to an older version of the Marriott website), so log in again.
4. Click "Nights" under your current year's nights. -> The detail you're expecting showing LT nights and points will show up like before.

Lifetime Silver Elite:
250 qualified nights
1.2 million points

Lifetime Gold Elite
500 qualified nights
1.6 million points

Lifetime Platinum Elite
750 qualified nights
2.0 million points

To check your point and night balance, log into your account and click My Account > Account Overview > Nights.

"Elite Lifetime Status is determined by your total qualified nights stayed and points earned throughout the course of your membership – including your paid nights, Elite rollover nights, meeting nights and the nights and points earned on your Marriott Rewards Credit Card."

Points used by members to buyback their previously attained Elite level will be permanently deducted from their Lifetime point balance.

If an elite's point level drops below that required for the level attained, they will drop down to the next Lifetime level until points are accumulated to get them back to the next level.

Lifetime points in addition to nights now display on your Marriott Rewards account. When logged in, click on "Nights" (the blue link below the number representing your current year nights). You'll see the detail of what comprises your current year nights as well as your Lifetime Status nights.

But what I was really hoping to see on the new site was the number of MR Gold and Platinum years I have for the determination of lifetime status. I can't find this anywhere. Does anyone know where on the site this number should be?

Thanks so much.

With that, I should be Lifetime Platinum Premier Elite next year!

Achieve 750 nights & 10 years Platinum by 12/31/18 = Grandfathered in to Lifetime Platinum Premier Elite

Thanks. Showing a couple of years fewer than I was expecting.... It looks like not all Marriott status years were counted. That stinks.

For the record, it looks like buy-backs and soft-landings are not counted. I paid for the buy-backs, so that is more irritating.
Markie likes this.

I dunno, new app says I have 11 year Plat and 750+ nights in MR legacy, yet LT Silver. Reckon it'll take awhile for the dust to settle...

Edit: The website does say Plat Premier Elite for main (non-LT) status, for whatever that's worth.

I deleted the old app and re-downloaded the app and finally got the lifetime status:

Nights: 673
Yeas as Sliver, Gold or Platinum: 11
Yeas as Gold or Platinum: 9
Yeas as Platinum: 9

But it says "Next Tier: LT Silver." Why?

You qualify for pre merger lifetime gold, which matches to post merger lifetime platinum. 2 million is for lifetime platinum premier

Likely stuff is rolling out in batches (and will continue to do so for ??) - still nothing under account overview for me...

Edit: Oh, have to click on the arrow to the right of your lifetime status (which for me reflects LT Silver but enough nights + Plat years for LTPP - just like the mobile app).

Where exactly is the arrow? In my case, (in the app) I have enough nights and years for LT Gold, but I don't have any LT status - in the app, it says "Next Tier: LT Silver."

Has anyone received LT status based on the new criteria?

So I gather that you've already sorted out the app part. As for the website, it may be that you can only view your progress if you already have some kind of LT status? For me (and apparently others), if you scroll down in your account overview, there is a block for some kind of LT status (Silver, in my case). Then there's a little arrow over to the right that you can click to see the (hopefully) same info that's available in the mobile app.

On the bright side, the years (as currently counted - no doubt subject to change!) are at least visible. But no, it doesn't seem as though LT status is necessarily mapped to the nights/years reflected as yet - at least for some of us...

(But then again, as I recall, there was fair warning that some LT status - LTPP, in particular - wouldn't be conferred until Jan '19?)
