Lifetime points are missing from the profile section of the website and show as 0 in the Marriott mobile app. However, you may be able to use the work-around referenced in this blog post to see your current Lifetime Points.

You can still view your lifetime points online with the following steps:
  1. Go to www.marriott.com and login
  2. Go to https://www.marriott.com/rewards/rewards-program.mi
  3. Click "Nights"
See screenshot of what to click.

If you call Marriott they can also tell you your lifetime points balance.

http://www.marriott.com/marriott/rew...te-benefits.mi As of 20 May, this process does not work. There is no link called "Night Detail" on this page.

To check lifetime balances: (HT to txpenny)
1. Click "Night Detail".
2. Click "Learn More" (under the night total)
3. Click "Marriott Rewards Overview". At this point you're probably no longer logged in (because you've been thrown to an older version of the Marriott website), so log in again.
4. Click "Nights" under your current year's nights. -> The detail you're expecting showing LT nights and points will show up like before.

Lifetime Silver Elite:
250 qualified nights
1.2 million points

Lifetime Gold Elite
500 qualified nights
1.6 million points

Lifetime Platinum Elite
750 qualified nights
2.0 million points

To check your point and night balance, log into your account and click My Account > Account Overview > Nights.

"Elite Lifetime Status is determined by your total qualified nights stayed and points earned throughout the course of your membership Ė including your paid nights, Elite rollover nights, meeting nights and the nights and points earned on your Marriott Rewards Credit Card."

Points used by members to buyback their previously attained Elite level will be permanently deducted from their Lifetime point balance.

If an elite's point level drops below that required for the level attained, they will drop down to the next Lifetime level until points are accumulated to get them back to the next level.

Lifetime points in addition to nights now display on your Marriott Rewards account. When logged in, click on "Nights" (the blue link below the number representing your current year nights). You'll see the detail of what comprises your current year nights as well as your Lifetime Status nights.

what I really hope is 'news' from Marriott soon. We are heading towards 2018 rapidly and there is still absolute silence how they plan on combining the program, LT status and otherwise.
As much as I disliked the airlines mergers, at least there was a short period until there was clarity on how programs would combine. This is not that difficult, there are limited options on the table ... IMO they just need to make a decision and communicate it.

What does heading toward 2018 rapidly have to do with it? They seem to be aiming for late 2018 for the merged program, not the beginning of 2018.

Weíre in a similar spot. Iím 37, made LTP in five years. Currently at 997 LT nights, and 3.9m LT points. If they end up counting everything Iíve transferred in from SPG itís closer to 5.0m LT points

Become Lifetime Platinum This Week

I am 5250 points away from 2M points, 961 Nights and achieving Lifetime Platinum! I have a reservation starting tomorrow where I get easily more than that amount! Is it crazy that I am sooo excited?!! If so, I am crazy this week! :-)

Letís just hope this carries over to the merger!

Congrats in advance

Marriott has made both oral and written statements that once you earned LT G/P you’ld have it in the new program, but what they haven’t said is (1) what benefits G and/or P would be entitled to and (2) will there be a new official (not PP) level above P (say at 1000 nights and 2.X mil points) and if so, how would that diminish P/G status.

I keep hoping they create a LT Platinum Premier. 2400 nights at Marriott 6 Million points. 1300 nights at SPG. When they combine, I will have more than 10 years.

Huh. I hit it late last month but never got an email. It shows properly on my profile, though, so I'm not concerned about it.

From what I've heard here, we shouldn't expect anything else, other than continuing to be platinum even when not hitting 75 nights in a year.

My stats -
Nights: 946
Points: 2,012,797

I don't recall from reading this thread anyone getting an email. Wonder if that is new. Most complain that there is no communication of LTP.

Or maybe I didn't read this thread thoroughly, which is totally a probability.

I'm curious about how you managed an average of 402 nights per year for the last 3 years......

Minor finesse, but also CC elite credits outside of outright spend, per se...

Member since 2014 likely means 3.x years, making the average less than 402.

Why?
Membership in FT starting date doesn’t necessarily mean the OP started his Marriott account simultaneously as OP could have been with MR for years prior and not formally been with FT (lots of lurkers) but let’s see what OP next posts
