The publicly available codes on this thread are working as far as we know. Please note that not every code will work for every property worldwide.

The best thing to do, rather than just posting "I'm staying at (fill in the blank)/does anyone have a code", is to try all the codes first. As such, this thread is not for "cheaper rate" requests.
Note that It's highly unlikely that FTers will find a code that isn't already listed based on a one-off request.

If the code is available at the property, it will show that/rate. If it's isn't available, it will let you know that. Please note that if if one (or more) code is available, only you can determine if the cost savings fits with your budget. If it does, great. If not, you might want to try and see if the property has a local promotion going or if you can use LNF (Look No Further/Best Rate Guarantee) for a better rate. Also note that sometimes a publicly available code may show a higher rate than just a regular booking. Not always, but sometimes.

If you have discovered a new code, please post it in this thread and update this Wikipost. But please, this list is ONLY for publicly usable codes. No corporate or private use only codes please. Thanks!

marriott/spg code

i was using Z6H, Z5H, Z4H with SPG to get "free" nights (ie buy 6 nights, get 2 free). now with the merger i can't figure out if similar codes exist for Marriott.

Any help!?!

I've been trying to use those too (Z3H, Z3R) on formerly SPG properties without success. My guess is they were retired since the merger. Anyone have better luck?

Do you know btw if such codes are compatible with Citi 4th night free benefit?

Some rate clearly stated that not allowed fo contractors.

What could they do?
Fortunately i don't know - have a badge, but it think the worst case is the standard daily rate. What could be very hefty opposite to the corporate rate (ex. 10.000THB vs. 3.000THB)

M3D Buy 2 nights, get 3rd free in Middle East and Africa

it requires Mastercard, payment in advance

could it be even made with a rechargeable Mastercard only for online uses ?

i mean something like N26 Mastercard

can I use at check in an American Express card as guarantee and for incidental/extra expenses ?

Or need to have same mastercard used on payment in advance ?

and more ...

is it a rate could be combined with Jewel cashback?

Thanks

And if you do use them, be sure to check against the regularly available rates. They aren't always cheaper.

Yes, I have used them with the Citi Prestige 4th night free. I don't think they exist anymore because some properties that continuously used them no longer seem to work.

Out of curiosity, if you use one of the discount codes or say, the AAA discount code, do you still get points and the nights still count towards elite status?

This is very dramatic, I would almost suspect you are a hotel employee trying to scare people into paying full price. The only time you can get arrested is if you impersonate a police officer, possibly military and government might fall into this category so I would advise cation in this area if you plan on flashing a fake badge or ID for these rates.
Um, no. If you fraudulently use identification (including self-identification) to obtain services (a hotel room) for a lower rate than the rate to which you would otherwise be entitled, you have fraudulently stolen the service.

Yes, the hotel has agreed to sell you the room at that price, but that agreement was based on your intentional misrepresentation that you are a member of a group (i.e., an employee of a company) that you are not. Whether the police would care or not is a different story. The most I can see the police doing (at least in the U.S.) is supporting the hotel management if they tried to collect the additional $$ for the room, or tried to boot you if you refused to pay.

While the majority of codes will normally allow one ot accrue points and night credits, it is possible a few might not. Though most of the codes that won't give point/night credits tend to be restricted codes rather than public ones (and thus probably won't be in this thread's code list.)

What's more, I was responding to the point of the post I quoted which was that using such a discount code isn't a crime. I believe that it is. What, if any, action the police are willing to take is a separate question.

Feel free to use someone else's SET code, however, -- maybe after you have bankrupted AA with your redemptions.

There have been a number of incidents reported on FT where people were using SET codes at SPG properties for groups and companies with which they had no affiliation. When they were unable to produce proper identification on checkin, they weren't even offered BAR. They were given a choice of rack or find another hotel.

Yes, as it doesn't fall under their jurisdiction being a civil offence. The property has every right to file suit and probably will for a large enough payback. Unfortunately the publicity would cause more harm than they could ever hope of getting a recovery. That's way a lot of out-of-court settlements include a non-disclosure clause so both parties can fly under the radar to avoid the media.
