The publicly available codes on this thread are working as far as we know. Please note that not every code will work for every property worldwide.

The best thing to do, rather than just posting "I'm staying at (fill in the blank)/does anyone have a code", is to try all the codes first. As such, this thread is not for "cheaper rate" requests.
Note that It's highly unlikely that FTers will find a code that isn't already listed based on a one-off request.

If the code is available at the property, it will show that/rate. If it's isn't available, it will let you know that. Please note that if if one (or more) code is available, only you can determine if the cost savings fits with your budget. If it does, great. If not, you might want to try and see if the property has a local promotion going or if you can use LNF (Look No Further/Best Rate Guarantee) for a better rate. Also note that sometimes a publicly available code may show a higher rate than just a regular booking. Not always, but sometimes.

If you have discovered a new code, please post it in this thread and update this Wikipost. But please, this list is ONLY for publicly usable codes. No corporate or private use only codes please. Thanks!

Out of interest I just checked a forthcoming booking at Courtyard Jersey City which was priced per night at $289 weekend rate +tax - and it now prices at $249 +tax. I rebooked under the new rate and cancelled the original. Its worth checking these things.

JW- New Orleans

Hello everyone...Does anyone have a public code that I can use for the JW in New Orleans? Has anyone ever stayed there before? Thoughts? Any info you can share would be great. Thanks!

First, welcome to FT & your first post!

Second, there's a search function in the upper right hand part of the forum that if you type in New Orleans or JW New Orleans will bring up lots of experiences/info that you're looking for (true of lots of properties; just wanted to alert you to the search function). Read those & if there is a question that isn't answered, please post it in the Marrriott forum (rather than this thread), as you'll get lots more responses there.

Third, have you gone through the list of publicly available codes (ie, keyed them all in) to see if there is a rate, or are you asking us to do it for you? I mean that in the nicest possible way, but the codes are listed. Plug them in. If a rate turns up; voila. If not, no such luck.

Again, welcome to FT! Cheers.

Hi, has anyone have success recently with the XML code. I did a search but not a lot of info on actual usage. Maybe someone recently used it and can share experience at check in. Thanks.

Hi, In response to my earlier question:

Update: I am happy to report that I used the XML(leisure links) code this weekend and had no problem at all. They did not ask for any sort of id for the code. I was prepared for booking the westin across the street from the marriott just in case they did not accept the code but did not need to.

Question No Luck~

Looking to stay at Marriott Coronado in September. I tried about 90% of the codes listed and no luck (except for AAA, of which I already had). Anyone have any ideas? I do not want any risky codes as I had one for Avis recently and they would not honor the rate once I arrived to my destination, because I did not have an ID required, although the website said nothing about ID. Thanks~

well then if you are risk averse, looks like your options are now severely limited

which avis code gave you a hassle

Let's put it this way....I do not wish to get to the hotel to be told that they will not honor my reservation and be out a room in mid September.

As far as Avis....it was code A153700. Had it booked for over 7 months. When we went to the counter of the Fort Meyers airport....we were asked if we had ID. It appears that the discount code was for Avis employees....did not know this at the time. Long story short....we had a confirmation letter with conf. # and no where on there did it specify ID needed. Supposedly many people have used this with no problems what so ever. They would not honor it....quoted us a price of $ 700 more than original and w3ere as rude as can be. Thank Goodness Budget was able to help us out....which is ironic since they are owned by Avis.

I think it would be a good idea to add in post #1 that one may need to use the Alternate Date Finder when testing all the different codes. Sadly the reservation system still isn't smart enough to let us book a "rate change" stay online. As mentioned in this very old thread, however, it is possible to have a phone rep merge two reservations that are made at different rates.

For my recent stay at the Breckenridge MVC I had to book Saturday night at the AAA rate in one reservation then Sunday and Monday nights at the M11 rate in a second reservation. With a seven-day cancellation policy I didn't want to risk paying for two first nights if something came up to keep us from making the trip, so I had the two reservations merged shortly after making them.

The search results screen displays the message
** NO ROOMS AVAILABLE FOR REQUESTED DATES **

Unfortunately, the special rate you requested is not available. Please make a selection from the room rates listed below.
which doesn't make it obvious that the special rate very well could be available for some (or even most) of the nights of your stay.

I realize this makes an already cumbersome process even more time-consuming.

LPR Code Question

I've never really tried using many codes for booking Marriott properties in the past. I've got an upcoming conference at the Mobile Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel in June. The rate that comes up on mariott.com with no codes entered is $159, and the special rate for my conference is $139. I tried several of the codes in this thread and only had luck with the NPR and LPR codes. The only good rate that shows up with NPR also came up with the LPR code. These are the rates that come up with LPR:

$59.00(USD) PCH/RTJ Associate Rate * Deluxe Room

$119.00(USD) UK Wholesale Golf Rate * Delux Room

*134.00(USD) Holiday Rate * Corner King * Oversized King Room with one King bed *

The Holiday Rate is the one that also showed up with the NPR code.

The PCH/RTJ Associate Rate Rules didn't say anything about ID or eligibility, but it certainly seems like a corporate rate. A google search leads me to believe that this is a rate for associates of the company that owns this and other Alabama Rens and Marriotts.

The UK rate is a UK Golf Wholesaler rate which states that "Direct bill must be set up through accounting before guest arrives". So I think that rate is out.

After seeing the Holiday rate, I tried the HOL code and got the same rate.

So it seems that I shouldn't use the PCH rate but that the Holiday rate would be safe to use. It also gives me an oversize corner King room, which seems nice and I think would normally cost more than the other rooms.

Thoughts?

I believe that you missed the greater irony.

my recommendation is that when you check the rate rules you also print them IF they do not state any requirements about ID and eligibility; while they "may" still deny you, this can only help you and never hurt you
