- We're also planning to mail ourselves care packages--e.g. a bottle of wine per day, small snacks, etc. at each location. Figure that will save us a few bucks too.

Feel free to PM me to discuss more, if you decide to go to FP, etc.... more than happy to share ideas on the subject.
French wine is actually reasonable in Tahiti. Just swing by a grocery store and pick up a bottle or three. On Bora Bora, there are two grocery stores in town. On Moorea, I don't remember the store within walking distance of the Sheraton having wine, but there was one that people cabbed to that seemed to have it.

Ferry and air
 
Just back from both the Sheraton Moorea and BBN. We took the ferry to Moorea (900 CFP or about $9 per person each way) and took "Le Truck" to the hotel. I think that was about 300 each. This is the budget way, but we found it to be fine. We flew to BBN with Air Tahiti for $160 each roundtrip. We didn't need the package for inter-island air since we were on a cruise part of the time and saw the other islands that way. Not sure how much a flight would be to Moorea.

One month to my wedding - then Honeymoon at Sheriton Moorea and Bora Bora Nui. Got a Beach Bungalow on Moorea (was best they offered with points) and OWB on Bora Bora. Air TN out of LAX lands at 11:30pm so first night will be at Sheriton PPT.

I've read all the threads and need advise:

1. I want to fly inter-island - Is it necessary to make reservations in advance or purchase tickets now OR wait and do it there?

2. Is there a best beach bungalow at Moorea? What is best way to contact Sheriton Moorea to request? Do you have contact e-mail or manager name? When is best time to contact (1 week before or other)?

3. I see that best OWB at Bora Bora Nui are 109, 108, 106, 105, 104. How do I contact hotel? What is e-mail and best time to send request?

4. What time should we leave Bora Bora as our flight out leaves at 10pm? Will hotel let us stay late? What do we do in PPT while waiting?

I would like to contact the manager to request rooms in advance of my honeymoon. Your help is appreciated.
