Thanks. It can be problematic if you can't reach the Lancaster Customer Contact Center, but if you can confirm that you are speaking to an associate there, they can book up until midnight Pacific time.

Highly recommend!

I recently completed a 9 night stay at this location. We were assigned a 5th floor room that was clean and well maintained. No functionality issues were experienced with the room and water pressure/hot water was both excellent.

Staff at this property offered excellent service with nice touches that offered consistent guest use name and follow through on all requests. I've stayed at 5 star locations around the world and for a limited service hotel this property over delivered on the expectation level of guest service.

We used the pool and exercise facilities each day and both were acceptable. The daily breakfast buffet was adequate with the house-made hot sauce and hearty oatmeal both being highlights. Each morning we received made-to-order scrambled egg whites at no additional charge. Given the long stay, I required laundry service and the on-property washer and dryer were both available for guest use.

Room rates at the Sheraton Gateway were comparable to the 4P LAX so I messaged Phil directly and his offer of an additional amenity to compensate for the lack of a Club was generous.

I've stayed at numerous 4P locations and the LAX rates at the top. I would not hesitate to stay at this property on a future stay to the LAX area and would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Depends what you are looking for. We have Park, Stay & Fly packages that include one night in the hotel and up to 14 days of parking. We generally don't have folks parking who aren't either staying in the hotel or attending an event at the hotel. Please PM me if I can help further. Best!!! Phil

Value for money or SPG points? The award category of this property just changed from cat 2 to 3 during the past 24 hours. Proof here.

It was a sweet deal while it lasted.

Another good example of earn 'em and burn 'em!

What about with the family. Going to LA and SD for vacation. Looking at staying near LAX for 2 or 3 nights. The Westin is about 10 bucks less but looking at this thread I may change my mind.

Consider the parking rates and they nightly rate would seem equal.

I booked this last week at 3000 points, then when I checked my reservation I noticed it said 7000 (it always shows the current rate, even if you're charged less). I thought there was some mistake as I didn't think SPG changed categories mid-year!

Perhaps Phil can comment on the reasoning for the sudden change outside the normal yearly category adjustments?

In fairness, why do price changes using points need to be different than price changes using dollars? They can go up and down in a matter of minutes.

Apparently we never should have been Category 2 based on our variable cost to clean a room.
