Datapoint - Airport express bus (http://www.airportbusservice.com.br/en/linhas) stops here directly from the airport. For return, take a short cab to Hotel Maksoud (roughly 1km from Renaissance) as ride starts from there. Tickets can be purchased on the bus for the return part, if you didnt purchase one at airport for both ways.
Renaissance Sao Paulo [Master Thread]
Good breakfast, nice Gym and Pool.
Rooms are functional and perfect for a business trip.
The lounge offer in the evening is well spread and the lounge large enough to accommodate also a full house.
Overall very happy again with this hotel
I would prefer an email address for the Director of Rooms or the Front Office Manager or the Duty Manager, but I understand that beggars cannot be choosers ;-) .
Why do hotels make it so hard to contact them via email?
There was this one, but it is no longer active [email protected] . Maybe, they were bothered by the emails they were receiving.

Later on, after further Google searches, I found [email protected] , sent an email to that address and got a response from the hotel.
FYI - the lobby bar is being renovated / under construction, so there's a temp bar towards the back.
Suite upgrades. Early/late check-in/-out. Excellent and large lounge.
In my opinion, the lounge is nice, but only because of the view and, maybe, the staff.
Here are 3 email addresses, to contact management at the property:
Guest Service Manager (not the most or reliable manager)
[email protected]
Rooms Director (nice lady to talk to, but disappeared when I needed some help)
ADRIANA.SEGUIN @ RENAISSANCEHOTELS.COM
General Manager (very helpful and resourceful to resolve an issue that I had at the end of my 2nd stay)
VANESSA.MARTINS @ RENAISSANCEHOTELS.COM

Renaissance Sao Paulo Review (17 Photos)
Renaissance São Paulo Hotel
Check In
Check in was quick and friendly. I had done the app check in, but due to the need for the passport scan, I was not able to immediately get my key.
I was offered 1000 points as an Ambassador welcome amenity. I believe an alternative food and beverage selection was offered as an alternative. With lounge access available, the F&B option seemed a bit of a duplication.
Room
I had booked a standard room and received an upgrade to an executive room.
The bed was comfortable. I believe there were only available outlets on one side.
The desk was fully functional with sufficient outlets and a real office chair.
The separate shower had sufficient water pressure. Overall the condition a this hotel is at what wi would expect from a Renaissnace.
The separate bathtub was nice but was perhaps a bit short for a proper relaxing bath.
Dining
Breakfast was served in the main restaurant on the ground floor. You could also choose to have it in the lounge, but the restaurant has a wider selection.
The atrium makes this breakfast room special.
The warm and cold selection was wonderful.
You can also order egg dishes at the table from the omelette station.
Gym
I only used the pool and did not enter the gym. However, it seems that this gym is also used by non hotel guests on a membership basis. It seemed to have a good selection of equipment and personal trainers.
The locker rooms and changing space are really nice. If your in-room flip flops are too small for you, you can get larger ones at the reception for the fitness and spa zone.
Pool
The pool is really a nice addition in a hot summer city like Sao Paulo. It is not that big but sufficient in size. I found it a bit cool in the shade in the morning due to a fairly strong breeze, but it was not too cold.
I did find it very humorous to see how someone tried to make imperial units someone metric but using imperial notation. 3.61 feet is meant but 8 feet 1 inch is actually written.
Service
I had a problem with LATAM with a flight cancellation. The concierge on duty spent almost two hours dealing with this airline on the phone. I felt really bad about the amount of time he spent only with me. He went above and beyond.
Unfortunatley in the end LATAM ended up screweing up again, so it was all a bit in vain. Be forewarned about LATAM.
------
Perhaps a bit on the negative side (in my opinion) This hotel does attract a lot of very attractive women that want compensation for the time they accompany you. I was there on a weekend, so perhaps it is a bit quieter during the week in this regard.
Overall
Overall I can definitely recommend this hotel for both business and leisure stays.
Club Lounge
I believe you can also check in at the club lounge reception as a platinum or executive room guest.
One thing to note is that there is no central heating, so they had to bring me a small space heater.
How does the location of this hotel compare to the Sheraton WTC/Grand Hyatt for a first time tourist?
Thanks for sharing - planning for a fall 2024 trip; will be our first time to Sao Paulo. Seems the consensus is to stay at Renaissance? Shame at JW location isn't ideal for tourists...
