I am checking out of the Sheraton today, and moving over to the Westin.
I am very happy with the Sheraton ( large suite upgrade, much better lounge
food/beverage offerings), and think these days it is much better than the Westin.
If my stay later today at the Westin changes my feelings, I'll report back.

Just curious what the Suites are like at this hotel. I have a booking next Feb and I need one King bed and one additional bed - either a second bedroom (preferred) or at least a pullout sofabed.
Do any of the Suites offer this and what is the typical Suite upgrade room type when using a Suite award?

The lounge is fairly large, lots of seating and a central food service area with an omelet station, buffet style cold food, limited hot food options - but enough to satisfy if you really need to eat breakfast at the hotel (given the best Chinese breakfast in Taipei is a 1 minute walk from the hotel).
No dumplings, dim sum type items etc - the food is leaps above a US lounge, but not what I was hoping for.
