JW Marriott Nairobi, Kenya [Master Thread]
 

Just wanted to share our experience there as they opened less than 2 weeks ago.

Checked in for one night. Beautiful grounds, pristine hotel.
We were the first to ever stay in the room we received. Room is long but not big, upgraded to M Club 1 King Room (didn't request a suite - had one night and didn't care much for it).

Room has a beautiful shower, fantastic amenities. We received a welcome bottle of wine along with fruits and nuts. Also had a note from the GM welcoming us.

Executive lounge staff are great. Very nice happy hour with a large selection of drinks. Food is top notch.

Breakfast was fantastic - excellent selection, all products were highest of quality, service is super attentive, and they just can't wait to help you.

Thanks! How’s the location for a one night stay? Staying already for one night in the westlands and need a hotel for the night before flying out.

I stayed for one night using a NUA to a junior suite further upgraded to a one bedroom apartment which was like a big one bedroom suite with full kitchen and washer dryer.
Great view from 30th floor.

I found everyone to be super friendly and helpful. All around a great staff in every department and really eager to help.

The coffee/pastry shop had a tasty Chicken Milanese.

The club was decent. Better than US clubs but not to level of clubs in Asia.

The only thing not to good was a sandwich from room service but everything and everybody else was so nice that it didn't really matter.

I was here for 10 nights in May and had a great stay. I had originally booked Sankara, but they cancelled my reservation due to closing the hotel for refurbishment, but it was their loss and my gain because JW Marriott was just amazing. I was upgraded to a junior suite and all round service was great.

Any recent stays here? Looking at it for later this year and appears to be one of the nicer options in Nairobi

Do platinums get restaurant breakfast or just lounge? I believe brand standard is lounge only....
