The Singapore EDITION [Master Thread]

Can't find a master thread for this property so I'm starting a new one.

Official Page now live:
https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotel...tion/overview/
https://www.editionhotels.com/singapore/

Taking reservations from December 1st.
Page Source shows this as a Cat 6 so dynamic point pricing would range from 40K to 76K (Non-point-savers, As of Sept 2023)

Cheapest rate Im seeing is 128K points but Ive only checked 4-5 dates. And Valentines Day is 222K pts!

Don't be fooled by the C&P rates.

Saw someone actually was able to book the base room at 43K for next January.
Apparently base room availability is now closed, for whatever reason

Damn, found out a week too late that this became bookable. Definitely will be searching daily to book a night or two for April!

I was able to book a night in Jan at 50k. Does anyone know much about this hotel at all? Will this be the best Marriott option in Singapore?

Their cash price is about 800+ SGD which is brings them closer to Raffles and Capella level.

As far as I know, Marriott don't have anything around that level.
Even their St Regis still pretty average.
Haven't try their non participating Ritz Carlton though.

When I checked a while ago for point redemption in August 2024 I only could see 180,000 points+ for one night
Now I can see rooms for 49,000 points/night, while the cash rate is 997SGD+
This is a crazy good rate. I hope my summer holidays for next year will be decided fast.

If you don't want an upgrade or elite breakfast, sure.

There are still some sweet spots in January and Feb for weekday stays between 47-50k. Just to put things in perspective, a cash top up to your redemption booking for an upgrade starts from 654SGD+ for a "Larger Guest Room" to 1000SGD+ for their 67 sq ft starter Cuscaden Suite.

The hotel is in a street off Orchard Road just behind the St Regis. It will be 5 mins to a mall and about a 15 min walk from Orchard or Orchard Boulevard MRT. Not that you will be expected to walk or take the subway if you can afford these prices.

How do you expect anyone to answer this, beyond comparing the points rate to the cash rate, when the hotel is not open yet?

It's worth checking and rechecking when making a booking. I booked two days ago at 60K points. Today it is 42K.

I've not stayed in an Edition property. What are the benefits for titaniums?
