Exclusive!!! Members can now spend 1 million points per night to stay at the Excalibur in Las Vegas.

Marriott International and MGM Resorts Partnership

In all seriousness, the best policy is to ignore Marriott marketing. It's generally a nothing burger...

Earn 10K points for $7K spend. Not the best promo but better than nothing I guess.

I just signed in to my credit card account directly (an AMEX), and found this new offer in the section with all the special offers you can add to your card (Bloomies, etc.). I just hit the “add to card” button to get it added to my card. That might work for you as well.

10k Bonvoy points = about $60 in the context of a midrange redemption. Not much of a spiff for a big change of spending effort.

BearX220 -
I agree, I was looking at this and not excited about shifting $7k (even if I have that much spend to shift by the end of Sept) for 10k B points?
...maybe 100,000 points? (isnt that what they are offering for similar spends on new card activations)

All offers are welcome, but this one not enough points for too high of a spend to be attractive.

You're looking at it wrong, it's spend 7k and get at least 14k for having spent the money (more if you spend in bonus categories) + 10k, so spend 7k get 24k+. Not amazing, but decent IMO. I've found a handful of redemptions where I'm able to get pretty significant outsized value. I'm staying 5 nights at a hotel in Switzerland next year, 35k per night with the 5th night free and my 140,000 points is getting me over $8,000 usd in value

In my opinion, you're not calculating the true value of the points earned. Points are discounted throughout the year and can be purchased for around 0.8 cents per point, it may not be worth shifting a significant amount of spend solely for a $60-$80 bonus. There are several cards available that earn more rewards for $7k spend without any bonus requirements.
