Not sure that is true. Most hotels don't see a reason to print a $0 folio. I had to insist on it before. They can ... never seen a case where they really technically cannot.
doesn’t make sense. I get if it was an award reservation. But a prepaid reservation will for sure generate a room rate and an offsetting prepaid amount that will net to a $0 folio. And still don’t get why the OP don’t have a confirmation #.

I just had this a month ago when I had used a free night certificate to pay. Person at the desk just didn't get it even when I explained about chasing after elite night credits that go astray. We were staying a 2nd (paid) night so I just spoke to someone else later on who gave me the zero balance receipt. It feels very silly having to explain, but I don't understand why someone who works behind a front desk at a hotel doesn't already know these things.
