Annoying and useless added security questions when sending emails
 

A couple of weeks ago Marriott has started to ask additional security questions like member number, last stay, etc. when emailing them. I understand that security is important, but it just makes it much slower and it's rather annoying. In my opinion it makes sense for making, changing, cancelling a booking, sending points, etc. But if I want something that is to the sole benefit of the account holder, like getting a missing stay posted, this is really useless...

Are you guys not being asked these questions or you're being asked and it's just me who finds it annoying..?

Do you really want poorly trained customer service agents to make the determination what level of security is appropriate for a given transaction?
