Not sure how it works at Marriott… do properties get (financially) penalized each time Marriott customer care has to open a ticket regarding a complaint?

Uhhhh oh no I booked two 5-night stays there starting Sunday and it's the closest non-fleabag hotel to my customer. Hope this terrible manager has moved on!

Welp, just spent two weeks here and the staff could not have been nicer. The tiny Indian lady is I think the GM. Super nice, but I could tell she'll cut you if crossed.
Maybe word from HQ got through?

Does anyone know who the property is owned by and who is the management company (if any)?
I've started compiling a list of hotels I've stayed at, noting the owner and management co and my notes on the stay. Very early in this but I'm already starting to notice some trends.

This one is probably independently owned and managed, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the GM is related to the owner.

Okay, curiosity got the best of me. Owner is Burman Hospitality, New Delhi. Not finding any management company. Marriott corporate really needs to be careful with letting owners operate properties like this in this manner. Reputation can be lost overnight.

Unfortunately, this seems pretty common on the lower end of the scale- have heard many stories of where, for example, brand standards aren’t followed when it comes to breakfast (as in, not using approved suppliers, and what is offered isn’t brand standard). We’re going to see much more of this as all the big chains expand into the lower part of the market with their new stripped down extended stay flags, and with things like Hilton’s new Spark (motel) flag.
