Lifetime elites : stay stats and a gift of luggage tags
For those of us who have lifetime status with Marriott, there is a new website where we can see our stats. We also can get a gift - though no indication is given as to what that gift might be.

It is fun to see how many points I've earned thru the life of the program, how many brands I've experienced, and the most frequent places I've stayed.

Oh no, Ive redeemed about a million points more than Ive earned. I hope they dont consider it a loan, although undoubtedly *wood conversion/*wood Amex issues. Actually, I suspect earned is only from hotel stays.

Well, might as well take the tags. They seem to get damaged/ripped off by the airport baggage monkeys often enough that its good to have some spares.

I guess if you bought points it won't be considered as earned.

I've certainly never bought or transferred points to Marriott because I haven't needed to (and it's generally an awful value vs. other uses), but I have gotten points through credit card bonuses, so I'm assuming that accounts for the difference for me.

I had been tempted to buy one of those luggage tracker tags.
I'm not sure that I understand the process: ordering your own gift instead of receiving a gift ordered to thank you!

nice find, thanks!
numbers are weird for me, too. 150k more redeemed than earned and I don't do exchanges into Bonvoy. Maybe spg earnings not available which I guess from the too low total number. Also my number one brand is Sheraton with 29 nights. Should be a lot more...
