My promo: double points on any stay including a Friday or Saturday night. One night stays do qualify. It's valid from date of registration through the end of August 2022 - so basically 3.5 months long.
This will be another easy promo for me to rack up points.

I never got a single promo all summer. The last 1 was double nights back in Jan or Feb. Likely reason is I have over 110 real nights (148 with double etc) and hit Amb spend in June. Still I should have gotten something.

Case in point are reports from Lifetime Plats/Titaniums who receive double night targeted promos. I've read that on here in the past from exasperated members.

You have unrealistic expectations. There's no likely reason. There are plenty of us here who have had none or only one targeted promo *since the merger* some years ago. Mine was a double night targeted promo in 2021 at some point. That's been it.

There has to be somo logic behind, but we just don’t know, we are assuming is number of elite nights or level of membership, but it could be anything, for instance having stayed at x type of property in x market, etc. Let’s say some kind of behavior..
I have only received 1 targeted promo since the merge.

It has no likely reason. I dont hv a single promo even I only had 3 pd nights in Jan
Time and time again, there is no any reason how these promos are targeted. An European friend is lifetime titanium yet he received double elite night promo, as well as one FN per 2 stays, all in this year since Spring.
See above what promos a friend received. Even more mysterious on why he received so many good promos from Marriott - all his stays are on BRG rates. LOL

A friend of mine joined Bonvoy in June and stayed 10 nights so far, he received '2 FN for 2 stays' promo last week

I just checked my account and, as expected, there are 0 new promotions. Well, in a competition for a backup hotel chain, in my books Hilton is winning over Marriott. I am mainly staying with Hyatt nowadays.
