I see no availability June 19-21 when not logged in. That's some rack rate during that time! Most likely conferences are back in full swing.

Even as a guaranteed availability rate, it's outrageously high. It doesn't cost three thousand dollars to walk someone.

Between gutting of benefits and $3K Fairfields, free agency or even AirBnB is starting to look good once travel comes back.

Maybe that's the price to buy the hotel?

Due to demand, the price has gone up...

Reserve this room before the price goes higher!

Now the OP's rate looks like a bargain.

It is a two-night stay being quoted, if that's helpful to your decision making.

Burn all of your Marriott points - these $3K Fairfields are just another step towards Capuano's evil plans. Best Western Rewards has been running some good TV ads - I think switching there might garner some great experiences.

FWIW, guessing this is some sort of glitch since other hotels in the area are pricing out at $200-300 on the nights in question (June 18-20).

I'm not so sure - those suite photos look pretty nice - definitely worth the price. Plus, you get free breakfast and free Wi-Fi!

Haha, ok, you can have it. I'll take the JW for $277 or even the RC for $500 on the same nights.

That being said there is definitely something weird going on, because in addition to those astronomical cash rates for the 18-20, there is no cash availability for the nights of the 20-21, but there is award availability (at 40k points)...

Just back from one trip, on to the next... it's comments in threads like this that I enjoy the most.

I completely forgot about the free breakfast. If I value the room at $150 and bacon at $7/lb, I need to eat more than 465 lbs of bacon to break even.

But remember that you'll have to eat the whole 465 lbs of bacon since you aren't supposed to take food to go.
